Consultation Preparation

Ready to get started? This is how it works.

STEP 1: Scheduling an Initial Consultation

You can request a consultation by calling our office at 402-718-8888. Our staff will find a time that works for you and gather some preliminary information so we can prepare for our meeting.

STEP 2: Completing Initial Paperwork

Prior to your appointment, you will need to complete four forms. Please select documents below for “Individual Client” or “Married Client” and bring the completed paperwork with you to the meeting.

STEP 3: Attending the Initial Consultation

Most initial consultations last about 45 minutes and is designed to allow us to understand your situation and goals in order to guide you toward getting peace of mind.

We will want to find out more about you and what keeps you up at night. To make the best use of time, you will need to be able to discuss your personal financial situation. For example, you should be able to discuss your sources of income, life insurance and what you own in some level of detail.

The initial consultation is designed to determine whether we are the right firm for you. You will receive a recommendation for the best course of action for your situation, as well as the exact costs involved.

STEP 4: Retaining Your Legal Partner

We recognize that for many of our clients this is the first time they have had to make these kinds of decisions. Whether you are planning ahead or navigating a crisis situation, once you retain us, we will work through the issues you are facing and create a personalized plan to help accomplish your goals.  You will get clear direction and advice that is easy to understand.
